Thorough “Making Music”, Children’s Aid Team creates opportunities for schools to get involved in a range of activities as well as providing training and resources for teachers, classroom assistants and special needs co-ordinators. Workshops for children and their teachers, parents and support workers will demonstrate how simple techniques, like using rhythm, can have an immediate effect. And showing how everyday objects can be used to make music will help schools on tight budgets to take up the initiative.. Importantly, these are methods which teachers and classroom assistants can use without being trained musicians!
